A new study has shown that a drug called Viagra can increase men’s libido.
It’s not the first time a drug that treats erectile dysfunction has been linked to a higher chance of having a heart condition. Pfizer Inc. has been using a drug called, which is sold under the brand name Viagra. But Viagra is not approved for medical use in the United States.
In a, the U. S. Food and Drug Administration approved the drug in the U. with the approval of Novartis AG’s drug division, which sells generic versions of the drug. Pfizer is seeking approval to sell the drug in the U. S., as well, for erectile dysfunction.
The FDA approved the drug in October 2009 for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension.
The drug is also being studied for its possible use in treating the symptoms of Raynaud’s phenomenon, or sudden episodes of tingling, numbness, and weakness of the hands and feet. But researchers aren’t sure if the drug could cause Raynaud’s phenomenon.
“We’ve not seen any reports of Raynaud’s phenomenon using the drug,” said, a professor at the University of Illinois-Chicago. “What we do know is that if you have a high desire for sex, there is a great deal of sexual arousal, which is what causes it.”
Because Viagra is an erectile dysfunction drug, the drug is not prescribed for Raynaud’s phenomenon and doesn’t treat the condition.
However, a study of men with Raynaud’s phenomenon found a statistically significant increase in men’s sexual desire, as measured by the “facial” response to sexual stimulation. Viagra’s effect on men’s sexual desire is thought to be due to an increase in blood flow to the penis.
In other words, in some men, a drug that increases blood flow to the penis may also be able to increase desire.
Researchers aren’t sure what effect this could have on men’s sexual desire. They aren’t sure why Viagra was so effective in increasing men’s sexual desire, and the drug wasn’t tested for its effect on Raynaud’s phenomenon.
“There are no known effects of Viagra on the cardiovascular system, so there is no way to determine if there are other effects on the cardiovascular system,” said Dr., who wasn’t involved in the study. “There’s no way to determine whether it has any effect on the cardiovascular system.”
Viagra has been approved for use in the U. S., Canada, and Australia, including in men aged 18 and over. It is not currently available in the U. and other countries.
Viagra is approved for use in men between the ages of 18 and 64, and is not currently approved for medical use in the U.
The drug isn’t prescribed for Raynaud’s phenomenon and is not approved for medical use in women.
“The drug is not prescribed for Raynaud’s phenomenon and is not approved for medical use in women,” said, a professor at the University of Chicago. “It is not approved for use in women.
“There are no known effects of Viagra on the cardiovascular system, so there is no way to determine if it has any effect on the cardiovascular system.”
The drug is not available for use in men. Viagra is available as a prescription, and the FDA requires a doctor to have a medical history of Raynaud’s phenomenon before prescribing the drug. The drug is approved for medical use in men only.
